Letters from a sister in Christ

remain soft

Dearest brother,

I pray your heart and soul be softened by love and remain soft for eternity. I pray you know that softness is beauty, strength, power and authority surpassing the understanding of the world; for when you are soft, you are patient, kind, compassionate, merciful, and forgiving. When you are soft, you are like Christ.

I know it is extremely difficult to be soft and remain soft in the current time, as it had always been. When the world calls you weak for rooting yourself in love, do not uproot yourself. Remain rooted like a stubborn tree, for the earth and wind know how strong you are, and rain will come to you, specifically to water you. You will not lack, my beloved sibling. Father will provide for you and your household. He will bring you justice, restoration, and blessings according not to you, but to the obedience of Christ.

So, remain soft, then, in love, and for love. We were made from dust not to come steel, cold and hard, but to be flexible, absorbent of the Living water, to take whatever shape love requires us to take, and to be what He made us to be: an Expression of His Love and Care for the earth and all Creation.

How awesome is His love and kindness expressed through you!

Go gently on yourself, His beloved.

With love,
Josephine
